Ritomo Miyata claimed his maiden FIA Formula 2 victory during the inaugural Madrid Sprint Race on September 12, 2026, held in support of the Spanish Grand Prix at the newly built Madring circuit.
Ritomo Miyata (Hitech) secured a brilliant lights-to-flag victory, winning by over two and a half seconds after managing two safety car restarts.
Emerson Fittipaldi Jr. (AIX Racing) finished second from reverse-grid pole for his maiden F2 podium, with Laurens van Hoepen rounding out the top three.
